Writing competitions are a great way to work on a different kind of brief and The Final Fairytale started life as an entry to a 100 words or less short story competition with the theme Fairytale.
I didn’t win but always liked the idea and turned it into a one minute film and then an extended cut that played well in festivals around the world and picked up some awards along the way.
