We followed Karen Barry, a powerlifting granny from Cork, for three years as she attempted to become a world champion just four years after discovering the sport.
Lift has been a huge and very rewarding experience. Working so closely with a subject and telling a true story was a new experience for me and gave me a fresh perspective. It was such an enjoyable project to work on, we’re in pre-prod a new sporting doc.
